International Talent Cultivation Program - The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE)

2020-01-03

The aim of pursuing Masters degree in Accounting, Organisations and Institutions at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is to gain international perspectives and develop a deeper knowledge of finance and accounting. The program is designed to analyze the relationship between accounting, organizations and institutions and how these three factors are shaping society. The courses provided by LSE can help students developing related professional expertise and skills. These courses consist of accounting and finance theories and a variety of optional units. I can use what I learnt from the university to help the government design better regulations of financial market and institutions. During my study at LSE, I had the opportunity to meet professors and students from different countries to share different ideas and views, which have broadened my horizons and helped personal growth.

Through the program, I have gained deeper knowledge of accounting in the context of organizations and institutions, which can be future reference of the government policy. Supervisors should admit that financial market would fail and that there are limits of regulations. What supervisors can do is to decrease the possibility of financial market failure and alleviate the influence of failure. Therefore, many supervisory and regulatory authorities have aimed to build resilient financial institutions and more stable financial market.
