To deepen Taiwan corporate governance, promote sustainable corporate development, establish a competent ESG ecosystem, and strengthen the international competitiveness of Taiwan''s capital markets, the FSC has officially launched the “Corporate Governance 3.0 - Sustainable Development Roadmap” (hereinafter referred to as CG 3.0) on August 25, 2020. To help listed companies better understand the content of CG 3.0, TWSE and Tpex are jointly hosting “Corporate Governance 3.0 - Sustainable Development Roadmap Forum” at Convention Hall, Howard Civil Service International House on September 21, 2020.

There will be a keynote speech addressing five action plans and related promotion measures of CG 3.0, including "Strengthen duties and functions of boards to enhance the sustainable value of enterprises," "Enhance information transparency and promote sustainable operations," "Strengthen communication with stakeholders and create effective interaction channels," "Encourage stewardship and align with international norms," and "Deepen a corporate culture of sustainable governance and provide diversified products." Besides, there are several panel discussions covering the topics regarding “Enhancing shareholders’ activism and leading with stewardship” and “Strengthening ESG information disclosure and providing diversified products.” Through the mutual communication and experience sharing of the panelists, the forum can help listed companies understand the direction for CG 3.0 and achieve the CG 3.0’s visions of effective corporate governance, improved sustainable development, a sound ESG system, and more globally competitive capital markets.
