Public fundraising in the first half of 2021 has increased compared with the same period last year.

The public fundraising activities in the first half of 2021 were as follows:
There are 166 domestic and 4 overseas public fundraising cases in the first half of 2021, amounting to 170 cases and increasing from 129 cases in the same period of 2020. The total amount of public fundraising in the first half of 2021 was NT$468.976 billion, increasing by 9.53% from NT$428.157 billion in the same period last year.
Among them, the domestic fundraising amounted to NT$397.405 billion (accounting for around 84.74% of total public fundraising) and the overseas fundraising amounted to NT$74.571 billion (accounting for around15.26% of total public fundraising), respectively, which indicates that the public companies still relies on domestic fundraising.
The increase in public fundraising is due to the need for enterprises to expand their operations and production scale. 
The total amount of private placements was NT$22.917 billion (accounting for around 4.66% of the total amount of public and private placements), increasing by35.35% from NT$16.931 billion in the same period last year.
