Consumers should also pay attention to what kind of insurance products they purchased, definitions of diseases, hospitals, etc. It is also important to understand other important matters such as referring to hospitalization as a payment, insurance waiting periods, payment caps and exclusion responsibility. The FSC recommends consumers to give honest answers for the written inquiries from the insurance company in order to avoid purchasing insurance product that do not meet their needs or derivative of other disputes.
