1. Foreign Institutional Investors (FINI) and Mainland Area Investors’ (QDII) Investment in the Securities Markets
（1） Offshore FINIs: 50 applications were registered from Mar. 1, 2024 to Mar. 31, 2024.
（2） Onshore FINIs: 2 applications were registered from Mar. 1, 2024 to Mar. 31, 2024.
（3） QDIIs: 0 application was registered from Mar. 1, 2024 to Mar. 31, 2024. According to the Regulations Governing Securities Investment and Futures Trading in Taiwan by Mainland Area Investors, mainland area investors (QDIIs) that engage in securities investment or futures trading in Taiwan are limited to qualified institutional investors approved by the competent authority of banking, insurance or securities for the mainland area.
（4） As of Mar. 31, 2024, cumulative net inward-remittance from offshore FINIs was about US$260.48 billion, and QDIIs was about US$44.16 million.
2. Foreign Individual Investors’ (FIDI) Investment in the Securities Markets
（1） Offshore FIDIs: 3 applications were registered from Mar. 1, 2024 to Mar. 31, 2024.
（2） Onshore FIDIs: 409 applications were registered from Mar. 1, 2024 to Mar. 31, 2024.
（3） As of Mar. 31, 2024, cumulative net inward-remittance from offshore FIDIs totaled about US$193 million.
3. As of Mar. 31, 2024, cumulative net inward-remittance from offshore FINIs, QDIIs and offshore FIDIs totaled about US$260.71 billion.
4. Foreign Portfolio Investment in Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) Shares
（1） Cumulatively from Jan. 1, 2024 to Mar. 31, 2024, all foreign investors bought NT$6,943.56 billion, and sold NT$6,835.87 billion of stocks, amounting to a net-buy f NT$107.69 billion.
（2） Cumulatively from Jan. 1, 2024 to Mar. 31, 2024, QDIIs bought NT$733 million, and sold NT$831 million of stocks, amounting to a net-sell of NT$98 million.
5. Foreign Portfolio Investment in Taipei Exchange (TPEX) Shares
（1） Cumulatively from Jan. 1, 2024 to Mar. 31, 2024, all foreign investors bought NT$1,145.35 billion, and sold NT$1,184.17 billion of stocks, amounting to a net-sell of NT$38.82 billion.
（2） Cumulatively from Jan. 1, 2024 to Mar. 31, 2024, QDIIs bought NT$ 98 million, and sold NT$190 million of stocks, amounting to a net-sell of NT$92 million.
