A total of 1,826 listed companies are required to file 2023 financial reports by April 1, 2024. All listed companies have completed the filing except Ting Sin Co., Ltd. (code:2358), Lead Data Inc.(code:2443), and Mutto Optronics Co.(code:4950). The domestic listed companies (924 TWSE- and 790 TPEx- listed companies) as a whole report NT$38.38 trillion in total operating revenue for the year ended December 31, 2023, which is a YOY decrease of NT$3.59 trillion, or 8.56%, compared to 2022. The net profit before tax for the year ended December 31, 2023 is NT$3.70 trillion, which is a YOY decrease of NT$1.26 trillion, or 25.37%, compared to 2022. The  revenue and profit of domestic listed companies ranked third highest in the past decade.

Among all the domestic Exchange-listed companies, the main industries with growing  profits include “Finance and Insurance”, “Automobile”, and “Building Material and Construction”, and the domestic TPEx-listed companies are “Building Material and Construction”, “Finance”, and “Tourism and Hospitality” respectively.
