Financial Consumer Protection Act
The institution resolving the financial disputes which shall be set up as required by and in accordance with the Financial Consumer Protection Act was named as the “Financial Ombudsman Institution”. The institution was established on 23 November 2011 and has officially started operation on 2nd January 2012. The institution is the specialized agency to resolve disputes on financial consumer services, and is responsible for handling financial education advocacy.
